Albumet har en fin balanse mellom gode gamle, ikke fullt så kjente gamle og tre nyskrevne låter “Starry Night” (Eigil Berg), “Annabelle” (Grini/Flaata/Finnigan) og albumets første single “Christmas Island” (Grini/Flaata/Finnigan)

Release delayed
We filmed Midnight Choir's last gig at Rockefeller Music Hall March 2003 featuring Lee Harris on drums and Chris Eckman on keyboards. The DVD from this very special evening will be out soon. The DVD will include the video clip of "Sister Of Mercy", the Olsen's Lot Electronic Press Kit (EPK) and more extras. |

Ny CD: "Rain"
Paal Flaata's second solo album "RAIN" is set for release in Scandinavia on April 18th and in the rest of Europe on May 9th via Glitterhouse Records. Ten great new songs (of which Paal has contributed to four) pluss a great version of Mickey Newburys "Bless Us All". The first single from the album "It Will All Come Down" got great reception by Norwegian and Swedish press. |

PÅL SPILTE MED ELVIS MEMPHIS 69' SESSION BAND
Gjestevokalister:
Jahn Teigen, Paal Flaata, Stephen Ackles, Trond Granlund m.fl.
Dette bandet er også kjent som studiobandet i Chips Momans berømte American Sound Studio. De er legender innen amerikansk rock, country og rhythm and blues. Reggie Young, Bobby Wood, Bobby Emmons, Gene Chrisman og Mike Leech har deltatt på plater med Dusty Springfield, Johnny Cash, J.J. Cale, Herbie Mann, The Box Tops, Neil Diamond og mange flere, i tillegg til å ha backet Elvis i studio ved hans store comeback i 1969 med låter som “In the Ghetto”og “Suspicious Minds”. Repertoaret er hentet fra de 30 låtene de spilte inn med Elvis.

will be released in Scandinavia May 30th and in Europe on June 6th. Not just another "Selected Songs" compilation but really The Best Of Midnight Choir. A 2CD-Set including all their classics pluss outtakes till now only available on singles. The song which gave title to their last album "Waiting For The Bricks To Fall" will also be available on the album. |
